Use this letter to approach prospects who have been abandoned by their agent at some point in the process. Without presuming to solicit representation if they already have an agent, this letter extends the olive branch for those who are left without anywhere to turn.
This is most useful if you know of a particular prospect who has been orphaned by their agent.
Send either as an email message or a regular letter.
This could go out as part of a more general newsletter appeal to people who know people who may have been orphaned by their agent.
From the letter:
“I’ve been concerned lately about the number of homeowners out there who have found themselves suddenly without a real estate agent.
Whether the agent has just “disappeared” from a communication standpoint, or has actually quit practicing real estate without a transition plan in place, too many people selling and buying homes have found themselves orphaned recently…”
